Full biographical data: Eliseo (Peter) Pieraccini was captured in Sidi el Barrani on 11 December 1940, then transferred to Bombay where he was held captive. From Bombay Eliseo was transferred to Melbourne where he arrived on 26 April 1944. In Australia he was interned from 27 April 1944 as a Prisoner of War in Cowra Prisoner of War Camp 12 (NSW) until his repatriation on 23 December 1946 on "Alcantara".
