<p>A page from the handwritten newsletter "Il pedagogo" created by Italian POWs in the Murchison camp: "Australia (Prodotti ed industrie). Mentre i tecnici militari lavorano intorno ai piani strategici, i diplomatici conducono una guerra silenziosa per il controllo mondiale delle materie prime, senza le quali non è possibile una guerra vittoriosa. L'Australia sta giocando un ruolo importante in questa guerra, come mercanti di rifornimenti minerali e manufatti. La portata di questa forza può essere dimostrata dai seguenti prospetti, rilasciati dal ministro del commercio, il senatore Mac Leay [sic].
